Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship our wellness products and salmon oil worldwide. Food and treats are not available for international shipping due to import and export regulations on animal-based pet food products.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to most countries worldwide. Some destinations may have restrictions on certain ingredients or product types. If you are unsure whether we can ship to your country, reach out to support@thepamperedferret.com before placing your order and we will confirm.
Do I have to pay customs fees when my order arrives?
No. When you order our wellness products internationally, all duties, import taxes, and customs fees are calculated and collected at checkout. The total price you see is the final price you pay. There are no surprise fees when your package arrives.
What shipping carrier do you use for international orders?
We use DHL Express for all international wellness product shipments. DHL provides tracked delivery with customs clearance included.
How long does international shipping take?
International orders typically arrive within 2 to 3 weeks from the date of shipment, depending on your destination and local customs processing times. Processing your order before it ships takes an additional 4 to 6 business days. If your order has been in transit longer than 3 weeks, contact us at support@thepamperedferret.com and we will look into it.
Why are duties and taxes included at checkout?
We collect duties and import taxes at checkout (Delivered Duty Paid / DDP) so you know the exact total cost upfront. This prevents delays at customs and ensures you won't be charged additional fees upon delivery.
How are duties and taxes calculated?
Duties and taxes are estimated based on your shipping destination, the product's Harmonized System (HS) code, country of origin, and the declared value. The amount is calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address at checkout.
What if the actual duties differ from what I paid?
We use accurate product information including HS codes and country of origin to ensure duty calculations are as precise as possible. In rare cases where actual duties differ, we cover any discrepancies. You won't be charged extra.
Do domestic US orders have duties?
No. Orders shipped within the United States do not incur international duties or import taxes. You'll only see standard shipping charges, and orders over $50 ship free.
