A 2 oz bag used to be a solid chicken breast

A 2 oz bag used to be a solid dehydrated chicken breast fillet. Now it’s a few 1/2 inch chunks and 1.5 oz of crumbs that my ferrets won’t eat. Good thing I took in a starving Mama cat and her kitten. They eat it no question.

Thanks for the honest review, and I'm sorry the bag you got was mostly crumbs and small chunks. That's not the chicken breast treat we want going out the door.
The cutting on these is handled by our supplier, and the broken-up pieces you described are exactly the kind of thing we've flagged with them to tighten up. Good news is we've moved back to the larger solid-cut pieces, so future bags should look a lot more like the solid fillet you remember. Sweet of you to put it to good use with your rescue mama cat and her kitten, but you and your floofs should've gotten a bag worth eating.

So fricken cute!! My big boy is gonna be eating so good!

I thought my package had been lost in the mail, so I reached out to Dooktails & asked for assistance, and she was very reciprocative with her response time & aid!
Though my package did end up arriving as expected (my bad haha), it was well worth any wait! My ferrets LOVE the salmon oil & chicken breast treats!! Following the feeding instructions, my ferrets started eating the treats within a few days, and now it’s the first thing they want every morning!
Will absolutely be buying again!!!

My ferret absolutely loves these treats and would probably eat an entire bag in one sitting if he could! It would be nice if the chicken was cut into pieces like the salmon treats though. Also, the past few bags have been mostly powder which he won’t eat, otherwise it’d be 5 stars. Hopefully the next few I’ve just ordered will be better because my little guy gets pretty moody when we run out of his snacks!

Daily Ferret Treat...

As anyone knows, who owns ferrets, they are fussier about food than a human toddler. So finding a treat they love is a pure joy. The beauty of the Chicken Breast Ferret Treats is that they can be broken into small pieces that are easy for them to chew. I also use small pieces in a Treat Puzzle for enrichment. However, the most important thing is that they are healthy and a perfect "snack" for ferrets. So glad I finally found a wholesome treat for my girls.
